We had a very close game tonight players and parents. I wanted to say “Thank You” for keeping your cool and representing the girls well. No matter if it’s a good or bad call by the umpire, we need to remember the example we are setting for the girls.
Yes, we were down one run with a runner on base when we did get the last out of the game. From a coach’s point of view, we should have played up to our potential and been up 3 runs or more. That would have left no room for any disagreement. We could have been petty and argued with the umpire ( who was kind enough to step in and allow us to play tonight) but we didn’t.
The girls are on a good track to learning and playing as a team, win or lose. We need more batting practice and more field time. I hope we can get our own field to practice as the season progresses and let the girls gain more experience.
Thanks again parents.
GO Queen Bees!
